Dancing With The Devil?
The drums are beating out a loud tribal sound while people are dancing and smoking pot round after round. Bodies are touching and clothes are bare. Are they dancing with the devil and do not even care? Lights are turning from green, red and blue. In the middle of the dance floor is a stripper just for you. Tattooed faces grin from body's lustful lure. This concert of drugs is for the mortal bodies cure. Words from the songs cannot be heard at all for the singer is high on coke and can't seem to remember the songs words.
He growls and laughs with his eyes glaring blood red. I wonder if he knows dancing with the devil will lead him to his own death bed.
Are you children dancing with the devil and you just don't know? Do you ask your children's friends names or even care where they go? Can you see the signs growing daily in the clothes that they wear? Yes! Dancing with the devil is a parent's worst nightmare! Do they snort and tell you it is just their allergy acting up? Do they hide their arms so you can't see the blood streaked needle veins? Is your jewelry being taken to the local pawn on a regular basis? Do you know where they go to get their drug supply? Listen to the voice coming from these words and think about your life and what your children may or may not buy.
Did you buy them the car just like they wanted because you felt guilty of neglect?
Did you buy expensive shoes and clothes that look haunted with holes and rips?
Did you send them to church to learn about God's word but never went with them but once? Do you care that your child's soul may one day in hell burn?
Is all that you care about just the money you can make? Don't you realize that your eyes are closed and all of this is a terrible mistake? You are setting the example for your children day by day. They watch what you do and use that as a guidebook for themselves. If you had to go just by the fruits that you now sow, do you think you would make it to heaven or would your soul in hell glow? All of this is worth thinking about don't you know?
