okay so this is an easy two points for anyone whoes had braces before. I had my braces 2 and a half years so far and i'm really close to getting them off. i'm like really excited and i can't stand these much longer. when i get them off i'm getting a big makeover so its kind of the ucky ducky turns to the sexy swan kinda deal. but on the left side of my teeth the top teeth need to be exactly above the bottom teeth like the right side is. u kno like perfectly straight. they told me to wear these rubber bands -the tightest ones on the right side of my teeth. and if they're straight by janurary something or rather then my othodontist could take them off. is it effective to double up on rubber bands like use three of them at once? what else can i do to move them drasticly by janurary?

Your orthodontist should tell you how to wear the rubber bands - just make sure you do exactly what they tell you. If you change your bite too much very quickly it can cause other problems, like TMJ. It is totally worth it, however long you have to have braces on - I wore mine from age 12 to 15, and even though I hated it at the time I am soooo glad now that I had braces. Also make sure you always wear your retainer regularly or your teeth will move back and you'll have crooked teeth again.
As a side note, please do not be worried about being sexy - you're 13. There is no need to be sexy at 13. I totally understand wanting to look better, be pretty, etc. but aiming for "sexy" puts you in a whole different ballgame.
