Where should i look for a cheap Ukulele?
Im not looking for the greatest ukulele but i want the best quality i can get for less. (college environment and i expect this uke to get trashed at some point)
but i guess im also interested in what the better ukulele's are as well. is the type of ukulele all preference when it comes to sound?

At $22.95 you can't go wrong. This appears to be the same colorful ukulele as Mahalo sells. Just has a different name and label. I have both and can't tell the difference in the dark.
If you want it to sound better than $22.95 put some Aquila Nylgut strings on it. You'll be amazed at how it'll make the little thing sing.
If you want better and know it's going to get trashed? Go for the Flea or Fluke. Yes, both over $100 but they have a solid plastic back and really take a beating. They sound good too. http://www.fleamarketmusic.com/ Check Craigslist or Ebay for a used one.
