Good synthetic alto saxophone reeds?
k so i play sax and i had a fiberacell reed but it lasted about 2 months...i play my sax more than 2 hours a day...and i dont want another fiberacell reed but r there any REALLY REALLY good quality reed out there?
Answer:
I use a Legere reed and think it sounds fine. Even if you use natural reeds keep a Legere for practice, band playing, emergencies when your reed splits. I tried Fibracel and Bari reeds, they were a lot lore expensive and didn't sound as good as Legere, and they didn't last.
