What is the best case for my 13" white macbook?
i'm a student and i just got a white macbook. i need a case i can carry it in with a good amount of padding and protection. i also like something slim enough that i might be able to stuff in my bakpack. also, i don't like black and bland. something with a little style so to say. i saw the brenthaven eclipse sleeve and it sound really good the only drawback is it doesn't have a shoulder strap so i don't end up snapping my fingers off if i dont have another bag to carry it in.

The Best Aluminum Gun Cases
If you own a gun, you know how serious your responsibilities are to take care of your weapon and ensure that it never gets into the wrong hands. How you store and transport your gun is an important part of those responsibilities. If you have done any research into the subject, you probably already know that most experts agree that aluminum gun cases are superior to other types of cases for weapons. However, some aluminum rifle cases are better than others.
Since it is far more important to buy the best storage cases for your firing arms than to save a few dollars on a cheap one, begin your search by looking for the best and ignoring the price tag. What are the features you need to look for in an aluminum gun case?
The best aluminum gun cases are also lined, inside and out. On the outside, ABS plastic lining gives the case extra protection from the weather and adds an extra degree of protection from shock. On the inside, EVA high density foam lining protects your firearm and keeps it securely in place.
The materials used in the construction of the case are very important, of course, but that's not all there is to the story. Quality of construction is equally important. It must have high quality, tamper proof hinges, for one thing. Needless to say, you must be able to lock your aluminum gun case. The locking system for inferior rifle cases is their weakest feature. If they have a keyed lock, the mechanism is often an old-fashioned one that makes the lock easy to pick. If they have a combination lock, they often have only a single 3 digit lock. These types of systems just won't be enough.
What you need for your aluminum gun case is either a draw-catch key lock that includes anti-pry tabs or a dual combination locking system. In fact, the best aluminum rifle cases have both of these systems, for added security. They also have tamper proof latches. We have all seen shows on TV where thieves simply grab a screwdriver and pry open the latches of gun cases. Curious children learn from these shows and if they're curious enough, they can innocently copy what they have seen on television and gain access to your gun. Needless to say, it is not worth taking even a small chance that a child gain access to a deadly weapon.
If an aluminum gun case passes all these tests, then you can confidently purchase it. Other features to look for are things like removable shoulder straps. The shoulder straps should have a well-padded shoulder guard so you can comfortably carry the case as far as you need to. Many shooters like to carry two rifles with them, so you may want to look into double aluminum rifle cases.
Your rifle is a serious investment and your aluminum rifle case should be a serious investment as well. You will be surprised when you finally take a look at the price tag. Even the best aluminum gun cases are easily affordable.
